We already knew that Respawn and EA had jumped in bed for a publishing deal on future Titanfall games. What's interesting is this mystery game that is releasing this year. EA says it's a big deal and they're very excited to announce it at E3. Now, we already know that the new Mass Effect is a ways off and it's obviously not Dragon Age: Inquisition. There were rumors from insiders that EA had a game that begins with an "N" that would be announced at some point this year. What do you guys think?

Could be anything but its probably another licensed game or sequel to something they've already made.

well they could finally release the full version of titanfall on ps4 :-) still find it hilarious the meta score for half a game

Well it's apparently not Need for Speed.

Nope. No new Need for Speed this year and it's not NBA Live 15 because that was already coming and it's part of the list. That wouldn't be big news. None of their sports franchises would be since we expect them every year. I think this may be one of those rumors where wires got crossed and someone heard wrong. We'll have to see but this is interesting nonetheless.

I wonder if they are replacing their dead space and crysis franchises with some of these new IP's

Last I heard, EA still has plenty of confidence in Dead Space and Visceral Games.

I liked it but I didn't think it was nearly as good as the first two games. The co-op part was a nice try but I don't feel they did enough to separate the players and force them to be on their own. It really made for situations that normally would have been blood-pumping and instead just turned into tag teaming enemies too quickly for them to be a threat most times.

The ammo system was ridiculous. Part of making a survival horror game with weapons work is making sure ammo must be conserved and a big part of that is figuring out how much ammo you'll need for which weapon to get you to the next safe area. Instead, the ammo was not only abundant but it was generic ammo that worked for every single weapon. That really took away from the whole idea of ammo management and made me feel like I could just blast away.

The weapon crafting was a decent idea until I was able to build a gatling gun that fired stasis rounds. It made every enemy from that point forward a total pushover. Weapons should be useful in different situations. There should never be a weapon that is insanely effective no matter what you're up against unless it's being used as a plot device. Speaking of which, I didn't think the story was all that great either.

I dunno I actually really enjoy creativity options in things like that... my favorite part of DCUO was creating a character... the rest of the game not so much...
Dead Space though it was enjoyable for me to find different parts and testing different combinations

I had no problem with the weapon crafting in general, even though I felt the weapons were odd and typically looked very awkward. The problem I did have was that you could craft insanely powerful weapons that made the game a joke. I would have liked it more if the weapons and ammo systems were largely the same as the previous games but now you could craft certain weapons instead of just finding them.

Well I also like playing around with mercenary kings gun customization as well... sure I can make the most powerful weapon of whatever type i have available, or I could try and make fun crazy looking combos that are just fun to play with in game.
