Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age highlighting the game's story.



Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is due out for PlayStation 4 on July 11 in North America and Europe, and July 13 in Japan.

I played through the game.  The story starts being non-sense after you find something.  "Oh remember that thing I made you fetch from an old run down temple filled with monsters?  Well guess what, it was useless all along and you need another one!"  Not to mention they pretty much abandon the plot of the game half way through and do something almost completely different.

Like the story manages to make you run around in circles to abandon it all afterwards.

Sounds like what happens in Open World games like FFXV cough...

It shows a lot of story elements, mainly from the beginning of the game, like Kryta mentioned, story does fall apart midway but comes back strong though at least from what I remember.
