The best news is Sony and MS sharing digital data for their first party titles.

Yeah npd got smart. No one will want their games to look bad just because digital is missing.

- "Persona 5 experienced the strongest debut month for any title in Persona franchise history, with packaged dollar sales five times that of the previous best-selling debut, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4," said Piscatella.

Oh and keep in mind that this is retail only.

That is amazing for the series. We could be looking at another 100k on top with digital.

Yeah, the game topped the PSN charts for April in the US as well so there's a high possiblity that it did that.

Jrpgs killing it on PS4!

Persona 5 sales are really great in US.

I really wants more JRPGs bring successful in west to give a slap in SE face and it mediocre FFXV.

NOt the worst. It's still talked about a lot online but a big expansion announced at e3 would do great.

Yeah, I think the performance is perfectly fine, considering that the game released in the first week of march.

It's still doing well enough on Amazon and I'm even occasionally seeing people pick it up in real life, that's of course just here in Germany, but I'm still pretty sure that the game is chugging along just fine. The game will end in the 5-6 million range no problem, a lot higher, if Sony decided to make it a holiday bundle (oh it's already being offically bundled here in Germany, which should continuisly push sales as well).

I'm willing to bet we get a Horizon bundle for the holidays that will boost sales of the game. Possibly a Pro bundle.
