I really like zelda, but I can't tell why this game is one of the highest rated games of all time.   It's literally full of those "ubisoft towers" everyone seems to hate, combat is a little janky, and there is really not much to do besides main quests and shrines(120 of these fudgy things), though the shrines are pretty fun overall.  And being such a big open world it's sometimes a chore to travel around.  Plus link can only run like what seems like ~20 feet or so and he acts like he is gonna die.

I think Zelda's a great game but it has so many faults that stop it from being perfect.

Upgrade your stamina though.

Yeah I am, but it still goes down way to fast.

Link dying from exhaustion is a "Feature", it makes the game better... or so I hear.

STamina just to swim is so stupid when you can literally use ice anyway. It's just forcing you to use a slow and tedious method to get around.

I know that.  The people giving the game 11/10s don't...

I feel like the stamina wheel should stay fully green for a bit and then start going down.  i know link isn't some super strong person, but I never like stamina bars/wheels.   And I avoid swimming at all costs most of the time, but I never really thought about using ice to be honest.  Guess I'm a newb.

I think that'd be bad. If you have a stamina bar, then you should see the true stamina value. Not some kinda true version.

I think having stamina slowly recharge while you're still in the water would work.

I think a lot of the reviews came from people not finishing the full game.

Not as a slight to reviewers, but literally I think the game would be better if you're not trying to do everything. As a 50 hour experience, the repetition wouldn't be as annoying/noticeable.

Maybe, I haven't opened it yet.  I'm still recovering from FF 15 and Horizon, and I know this game is gonna drain me (I'm a completionist).  I didn't even finish FF 15.

Just beat The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds for the 3DS.

94 out of 100

+Uses nostalgia from A Link To The Past, great for fans of ALTTP
+Unique painting ability and item rental gameplay aspect first time in the series
-Very short
-Very easy

Score wise comparison to the rest of the series....

The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past (SNES): 91
The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past (GBA): 92
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS): 100
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (Wii): 96
The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds (3DS): 94

Nice fact - if I finish Breath of the Wild next, it will be my #100 Nintendo published game I have beaten.
