What was your first PC?

My parents had a PC with Windows 98.  
I am not sure if it was their oldest PC, but it's the first one that I used extensively.  
It had 15 GB hard drive, don't remember too much else.   #thread bust
But I am sure other people have good stories.

My first personal PC was a samsung series 7 chronos. I can't find the exact version online but I think the gpu was a gtx 640m. 8gb ram and 1600X900 screen. It's what I started developing VizionEck with. I had a second monitor connected to its HDMI out so it worked pretty similar to a desktop. I think I had my devkit hooked up to it too unless I'm confusing years.

My second PC is my current desktop. i7 4790k, gtx 970, and 8gb of cheap ram.


Windows 95 I'm pretty sure was on my first computer I used. I don't remember it too much, but I remember when we got a new computer and that one definitely had 98. I loved playing the amazon trail. That was my blast back then. Skifree and Chip's Challenge were also my favorites.

I can't really remember, but I believe it was the Macintosh color classic was the first one we owned and it was second hand.

Motorola 68030 @ 16 MHz

[th]Memory[/th] 4 MB, expandable to 10 MB (100 ns (max) 30-pin SIMM) We had a lot of floppy disk games, most I couldn't figure out how to get it to work right. We got a few more over the years, but I really don't remember much about them, I bought my first one when I was 20 or so. It was AMD dual core and I got a 300 dollar GPU to go with it. Which I don't remember what it was. I wasn't into it as much as I am now.

I have no idea what the first computer we owed as a family was. It was Windows XP and extremely slow, that's all I know.

The first one I owned myself was a cheap laptop with a Pentium core and Intel HD graphics. I hated it

After the 98, my parents got an XP for them.  Pentium 4.  Was actually pretty decent for the time. Played Age of Empires on it plenty.   Then they got a Windows Vista, Dell with Pentium D or something like that.  

Got my own first personal computer that was similar a few years later with worse specs.  
Got another computer that was similar to that one for free from the school.
Then I got another computer from my sister's boyfriend at the time, that was similar spec wise to my parents at the time.  

And finally built myself this majesty.
