Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (PS4) special editions announced

Square Enix announced two special editions of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age during its PAX East 2017 panel today.


Collector's Edition - $200




  • A copy of the game
  • Original soundtrack
  • Collector's Edition Steelbook – Steelbook art exclusive to Collector's Edition (stay tuned for art reveal)
  • Exclusive "Judge Magisters" Bust Set – Featuring busts of Judges Bergan, Drace, Gabranth, Ghis, and Zargabaath
  • Exclusive 6 card art set – Featuring Vaan, Ashe, Basch, Fran & Balthier, Penelo and World of Ivalice
  • Background music DLC: Includes digital code to unlock Original Soundtrack Background Music in-game



Limited Steel Book Edition - $50




  • A copy of the game
  • Limited Edition Steelbook featuring artwork by Akihiko Yoshida
  • Background music DLC: Includes digital code to unlock Original Soundtrack Background Music in-game



Standard Edition - $50




  • A copy of the game
  • First-print run-exclusive reversible cover


Playstation Store Pre-order  - $50




  • Four-track music compilation composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto (unlocks on release date)
  • Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age PlayStation 4 static theme (unlocks instantly)

Additionally, during its PAX East 2017 panel today, Square Enix shared a few new details about the game, including:
  • You can switch between the original and re-orchestrated background music in the settings.
  • If you press the L1 button, you can speed up the game by two- or four-times.
  • If you press the L3 button, you can display the map over the screen.

I think I might get the Steelbook.  It'll go good with my original Steelbook of the game.

Lol they've got it gud though compared to Iceland. Haven't bought a retail game here for years.
