i find im having a very hard time finding any likeable male NPC's.   they just all have the baby quality where i find them all annoying as heck lol

I think the game's designed in a way where a lot of the male NPCs don't like Aloy.

The natural stance of the world is for the other clans to dislike the Nora, so you'd expect most people to not be happy with Aloy's presence. I think female NPCs like her more because they're not used to seeing strong women like her and they respect her.

That being said, I can think of 3 NPCs that are fairly main characters which are great and respect Aloy a lot. I think Guerrilla have done an amazing job with the NPCs to be honest

So I hit max character level and I'm not even done the game lol

Finished the game. ~70 hours playtime.

Also ended with like 80,000 shards. Really loved the game. Not perfect but so many awesome elements made up for that. Ending was pretty good.


I wish/the game needed way more choice. It allowed you to select a tone to talk in but it hardly ever changed anything. From memory there are literally only two choices that cause different results depending on what you go with.

It would be fine if the game acted like a linear story but instead for the first few hours it feels like you have control of who Alloy is and what she'll do. Really frustrating imo.

Loved the lore and worldbuilding. I collected 100% of everything except the ancient text. Those I missed about half. I will still be thinking about the story for a while since it was really cool.

I'm hyped for a Horizon 2. They knocked it out of the park with their first entry into this genre so I can't imagine how well improved the next could be.

It's actually interesting, but in terms of trailers or gameplay videos I don't think Horizon ever topped its reveal.

I agree with this. Its initial reveal was exceptional

34 hours and 62%  Still got quite a bit of main quests left.  Gonna go through and make sure I get most of the side missions done and do the collectables.  Then go on and finish the story.

Yes horrible. The dancing is so stupid and the gameplay itself looks odd with those quick smooth fades. Uncharted 4 trailer did similar and I didn't like it either.

Fair enough, it was just there for a bit of fun. They haven't used it for any advertising.
