I was planning on taking my time but I found the story so interesting that I just really wanted to find out what happens/ happened in the past

I was probably one of the most hyped people out there for this game. I knew the combat would be amazing, from watching gameplay and reading impressions, but I expected the story and RPG part to be good and not really stand out.

I guess I was thinking combat would be amazing, story would be good, lore would be great, RPG elements would be good and the open world would be okay.

It turned out that combat was amazing and the RPG elements were good, but the story, lore and open world vastly exceeded my expectations and even my hopes. I thought combat would be the standout part of the game for me but it was actually the lore and the background to the state of the world which will stick in my memory the most.

It's so nice to have a game that you were hyped for exceed what you were hoping it could be. Thank you Guerrilla!

Ohh I have to download all of it before I can start playing

Yeah this is definitly the best open world I've experienced. Every location is so great looking and tells a story.

Who the heck would have expected that from the Killzone devs lol.

Yup. Honestly the thing that made this the best open world game for me is the combat.

I know I'm constantly gushing about it but I just can't get over how finally I've played an open world game with amazing combat, and I still have not seen all the big mechs after 20 hours in the game.
Legend made me remove this. Everybody riot.

dang just went to the are that's allllll the way to the left of the world map so I could scale the tsllneck. I did not stay for long but from what I saw that place is dangerous as fudge lmao

Ha I did the exact same!

Not making a new killzone was the best idea ever.  the team would have been sick of making the same game over and over.

This has given them a new lease of life.  Maybe develope another killzone now and possibly make it semi open world?  And their next game after can be Horizon 2 to launch on the ps5. That would be an awesome exclusive to push the ps5 and it would have mega hype after the reception Horizon is getting!

naaa. they should just leave killzone behind. its done for. make Horizon 2, and start developing a new IP after it with a small team, while the majority of the studio works on Horizon 3. release Horizon 3 then the new IP.

Just imagine what they can do with a sequel, where they do improve the few smalle areas that can still be made better.

Btw. I'm level 23 and I'm not even through the gate that takes you out of the Nora land yet. I do too much side questing. :D
