Watching the ign graphics comparison and the Wii U version doesn't look much worse than the Switch version. It's mostly slight lighting and shadow differences I think

Nvm, it was just difference in time of day. Looks like it's only a slight resolution difference. WiiU is like switch in portable mode

How are the textures?  I remember the comparison where the Wii U's texture was terrible in comparison

I hope Zelda will be different since most fans are on switch.

It's why I'm picking it up today, despite the fact I won't be able to play it for a year.Not sure about Pikmin 3, but this happened to Metroid Prime Trilogy.  I'm actually sitting on an unopened Last Story Collector edition and an unopened Xenoblade Chronicles.  Probably should have picked up Clock Tower, oh well.

I remember it happening for a bit with Pikmin 3 because my sister wanted to buy it.  It was 70-80$ on Amazon I think.
Then they released it as a Nintendo select for 20$.

Identical. It was probably just new vs old build

I believe from the pics I saw the Wii U version lacks AA... everything else looks to be the same with the Portable Switch.

Docked Switch looks to have higher resolution and even better AA THAN portable Switch.

Yeap... you need less than 1 hour to reach the part of the game you already can finish it.

Well, that's not really completing the story.  Once you clear the first area you can go straight to ganon if you want. My guess it would take a bit of luck to get something halfway decent to fight him with by the time you go there. Plus you'd want to try to stock up on some good meals. Even though you'd only have 4 hearts. seems like a one hit kill for ganon. So maybe you'll have to avoid getting hit at all.  I think I have about 10 hours in and am nowhere near the end of the story.

I just watched this, it's interesting that this is possible but pretty boring to watch, he does the plateau and then heads to the final area immediately, just climbs up the wall, collects some gear in the castle and then starts fighting the final boss, he even dies and loses around 10 minutes during that fight.

I prefer speedruns that show a little more of the game.

After Plateau anybody can finish the game... even story wise because that is the main quest.

It is fair because the game was design like that... everything else is optional.

It just feels like picking the last level in Super Mario Bros.  
Doesn't feel as impressive as some other games.
