For Honor is performing lower than i was hoping. i hope this doesnt reflect its sales at retail.

I think there's some general cautiousness around the game due to it being a new Ubisoft IP (which haven't really delivered this gen) and it not getting any reviews before launch. I also read something about the game lacking dedicated servers, which people complained about, but I don't think that that's affecting things much.

I've seen that other people have been out off after playing the game, like I was. The "open beta" being so cloe to launch and reviewers not being sent any copies doesn't add any confidence. Plus the news that there isn't a proper single player campaign doesn't help it.

Personally I think it's not going to be a very good game and the general audience has realised that over time.

Yeah I've seen a lot of people love it too. I was never a fan of Chivalry either, so I think those types of games just aren't for me and there's a few others who feel the same. I'd agree that it could probably sell a few million. With perfect execution it could be so much more though.

The issue is that they initially hyped up the single player as a really good campaign, while its now come out that the single player requires an online connection, is connected to multiplayer (presumably with characters/ gear) and is likely lots of missions instead of a proper campaign. It could still be good, but its not what they originally said.
