They need to rethink the name Play Anywhere. Literally speaking, that's only the case if you own a laptop. Figuratively, it gives the impression that a wide range of platforms support it.

XB1/PC PlayAnywhere is a deal that you buy the digital version of the game and can play on PC (Win10 Store) and XB1.

Steam well you can only play on Steam (PC).

In terms of "play anywhere". Let's say I have a rig and a laptop. The laptop isn't powerful enough to run RE7 well. However, if Steam can do PC-to-PC streaming, I can at least stream the game to the laptop from the rig.

But the MS PlayAnywhere is not streaming... it is you get two copies of the game for the Win10 Store (PC) and XB1.

For honor beta is fudgy amazing. I played it got 5 hours today... 5 hours.... It's such a good game.

Likely won't be buying For Honor though until it's cheaper.  I'm hoping the single player is at least decent enough for when I get it.
