We have a game database now

I was browsing through the database and lol, who added Fable Legends? ;D

Speaking of that, I added a tracking system so we know who added each game. This way we can show off with stuff like "Xevross has added 100 games to the database."

Same goes for edits to games in the database.

I know money is pretty useless right now, but I set it up so adding a game gives $5 and editing a game gives $1.



I also added links to the database, and to personal game collections. We'll need to clean up and simplify them at a future date since that main menu is getting crowded!

GameDB needs to be about interactions between members, but ALSO ABOUT INTERACTIONS OUTSIDE VIZIONECK!

Should make it a full snazzy gametracker that we can put in our sigs on other forums. Offers a good service that lots of us would like to have, while also somewhat marketing the site.

Can we have sorting features for the gamedb? It's hard to see what games have not been added without going through the whole list

Let's talk about Trine 2.

Trine 2 on PS3 is a 6.7 game for me because it was a deception.

Trine 2: Complete Story is a 8.0 game for me because it was fun (they fixed the original release and add more story DLC/Add-ons... so the game become better.

So what I do? One, two or three games on the gamedb?

Trine 2 (PC. MAC. 360, PS3, Android)
Trine 2: Director's Cut (Wii U)
Trine 2: Complete Story (PS4)

Another question...

The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection (PS3) will be a entry or only the separated games?

Well do you have opinions on it?

For me at least I think collections shouldn't be added. Just treat them like ports.

Tearaway and tearaway unfolded should be seperate.

Not sure with special editions.

I'm still thinking how I will deal with games expansions and "complete" editions.

Another case...

WipEout HD * base game * Digital only
WipEout HD Fury * base + expansion * retail and digital

On the main database page, you can now search for games. This dynamically happens as you type and uses the abbreviations/alternate names as well.



I added this feature to one of my dev things so adding it to the database only took 30 seconds.
