PS4 vs PS3 launch aligned.

PS4 easily wins the battle to 4.5m and should get to 5m first aswell. If PS5 A comes no earlier then 2020 PS4 should easily do 10m+ in Japan and match the ps3.

According to SuperData, on the 2nd to last paragraph, PS4 sales are almost 55 million while XB1 sales are 26 million. Sounds reasonable, but it's also SuperData so take it with a grain of salt.

I mean there were retailer promotions involved this week and all but FH3 really has been a big success for MS in the UK, plus it was also the fastest Xbox One exclusive to reach 100k in Germany.

The game is the 10th best selling title of the year in the UK.

The whole things is just stupid front to back and shows nothing but Padibs bias.

3rd & 4th Generation shouldn't even be part of the comparison and the freaking Gameboy is not a 5th gen machine, the dang thing launch in 1989 even before the SNES. Handhelds shouldn't just be added to consoles anyways, since there's often significant overlap with people that own a handheld and a console from the same manufacturer and at least with the Gameboy we're talking about a life cycle that is significantly longer than any console has had(at least if you count Gameboy and GBC as one gen, which is the accepted way of doing it even though there are hundreds of GBC exclusive games that simply don't run on the normal Gameboy). Also, as you've said, the 8th gen is far from over.

Elite Dangerous franchise at 2.1 million sales.

Planet Coaster at 0.5 million sales.

PC is a bit under what I predicted while Elite Dangerous continues to surprise me with their sales.
