Just watched some Zelda gameplay and it was anything but smooth. Also, dat pop-in. I'm guessing they're targeting for but that it won't reach that the majority of the time and probably fluctuates between 30-45

People on GAF are mad because Switch is receiving PS360 ports instead PS3/XB1 ports.

I'll bet that fifa will be a downgraded version of the ps4xb1 one with some "special"  gimmicks

It is using PS360 engine.
Skyrim is not based in the remaster too.

The controllers.  There just isn't anything like them.  Like setting up a table as a TV is doable, but how would you interact?  Not well since you have to get up and touch the screen.  The controllers would work wonders.  I doubt Android phones would work with an iPad.  Android tablets are generally bad.

Nintendo acting like a dynamic weather system is something new and exciting

Nah I mean each person would use their own phone as a controller. Apps would communicate through bluetooth.

edt: aw you edited. Android phones would work with ipad. There are already cross-platform multiplayer games for android and ios so this wouldn't be an exception.

I do like how fast and simple it is to take and go.

Yeah its simplicity is why I would buy it.  But it more or less needs those games.  Like it would work when I go out with my friends when we play board games.  This thing fails hard as both a home console and a handheld.  A portable console with single screen multi iplayer focus on the other hand.  But I doubt anyone would make those games. 12 switch is honestly the worst game I've ever seen.  Even as a portable smash player wouldn't work in my opinion.

Yes Kamiya, we know what Nintendo is doing isn't new.

Nah, probably twice as many.
Zelda was expected, and it should be fun.  I think Super Mario looks great.
I'm not sure about Splatoon, I've heard good things about it, but it's probably not really my type of game.
Xenoblade 2 seems interesting.

So out of all that... What weren't you expecting?

I wasn't entirely sure that Xenoblade and Splatoon 2 would be announced so quickly.
I know the latter was rumored though.

Nintendo could go third party soon, that would be interesting.

I don't think it's designed for pockets...

That's going to limit its appeal in Japan. Battery life is also not good, so that will also limit the Switch's portability.
