Nintendo Switch presentation: On third thought, it was that bad

Positives:

Splatoon 2 (so it actually is a sequel)
Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade 2
that Square Enix sprite RPG looked pretty good too
fudgy Zelda (I can honestly already see the Horizon comparisons being made, which might not turn out great for that game)

Negatives:

Honestly the first half hour
$300 with no game plus paid online
No idea about the specs
Aside from Zelda and 1&2 Switch we still don't really know what will be there at launch and will probably have to research that ourselves.
The Yakuza guy coming up on stage to say he's making a new game without showing anything
Same with Suda51
The whole thing was still just extremely light on information.

So yeah it really wasn't earthshatteringly good

But god that Zelda trailer

I don't even know.  It'll probably sell like trash until Pokemon releases.  But can Nintendo sustain ghenthing ntil then?

Zelda will definitely help, but after that... who knows?

DerNebel

Oh right, Pokemon wasn't even mentioned

Pokemon Star was the one I was looking forward to the most for the Switch. Disappointed that it wasn't announced.

Still waiting for Red Dead 2 to be announced

Probably don't want to cannibalize 3DS sales. That thing has been on fire since Pokemon released.

So the Wii U launched with better third party support.  Priceless

What the fudge Nintendo. Oh look, another game not mentioned:

Welp... I should've jumped on that $99 N3DS deal back in November when I had the chance.

Eh that was really limited quantity and wasn't the XL version. $175 for new 3dS XL is still a good value.

My only hope is that the hardware specs were wrong. Everything else was  :)
