Yeah, I bought it around launch too. Played for roughly 21 hours, then stopped when doom and uncharted came out, or around that time. I came back to it, but after a few hours I started rushing things till I finished it

I want to play Far Cry primal but it felt/feels like a reskinned Far Cry 4. Even though I haven't played any Far Cry games, that was offputing.

The constructed languages are cool though. I want to buy it just for them.

Same thing for me too. I got it at launch and loved it for a while but then got rapidly bored. I have no will to finish the 'story' and I don't think I ever will. Disappointing in the end

It pretty much is, but it definitely had a lot of work to make it quite different at the same time.  Far Cry 3 is my favorite of all of them.

May release.
Wowza it's not dead!

edt: graphics look downgraded and the game seems smaller in this trailer but it still looks fun. Wonder what it will cost.

Yeah the graphics definitely look like they took a hit. I'm mostly wondering if it'll be any good, last march they "chose to reacquire the rights to Rime" which according to rumours actually meant that Sony was fed up with them and took the dev kits away because they simply didn't have a game. And now they are suddenly ready to release this 14 months later and on 3 new platforms (on of which they probably haven't had a dev kit for for long at all) as well?

I hope this is good but I'm very skeptical still.

So hyped for ME: Andromeda.  I still can't believe all the people on gaf who think it will get delayed.  It's literally 2 and 1/2 months away and will need to go gold by mid to end of february.  They wouldn't have announced if there was any doubt.  I could see a couple week delay if something all of a sudden pops up but nothing like some people are suggesting on gaf.  Someone even thinks it could get delayed to August or later.  Crazy people.  :P

i Dont think it will be delayed now that they have given a release date thats rather close. but i can understand why some people might think so, we barely seen anything of the game, and its supposedly huge. compared to Horizon, we seem very very little of Mass Effect, and they are just releasing a month apart, and are both RPG with a lot of content.

Spoiler for Hidden:
however i am really really hyped for ME: Andromeda. i do wonder if they can top the story in the previous games. the Reapers were such a formidable foe, and one that couldnt be beaten by just humanity, even all the galaxy couldnt beat it, it needed many cycles to keep working on a device to be able to stop them. they were a fantastic enemy/villan. i loved that sense of a small glimmer of hope in ME3, trying to beat incredible odds, and knowing their will be losses on the way, no way around it. the scale and intensity of the matter. it wasnt just some boss you knew you were going to beat. the Reapers were fudgy stronger than you, and you dang sure knew it. i loved the sense of scale in the ME universe, the stories and lore. my favorite part was the genophage, that was SO interesting, and every time i had the chance in dialogue options i would ask about it.

Yeah I can get why.  But it's literally what EA does now when marketing their games.  They show off very little until 2-3 months release and then its full blast on info.

i guess so. im excited to see multiplayer, but i am also really worried, i dont want this to have gameplay elements hidden behind microtransactions. im OK with microtransactions if they are for cosmetic items, ideally gameplay DLC would be free as a result, other wise it would feel like the milking is too much. but going on to multiplayer, i think they can have something pretty fun. i didnt play ME3's multiplayer as i played ME3 just a few months ago.

Horizon

So I could not finish Dragon Age Inquisition, what a freaking shame as there are some great things but the game is PADDED with filler content that is literally worthless. The game would have been a much better experience had it been a 40 hour game with a more coherent story as the story missions are great. The open world environments are very pretty but generally lifeless just filled with enemies and a few forts here and there but the main thing that made me gave up was the combat. After 60+ hours it is mundane and you honestly feel like you are playing something like Sacred instead of an action RPG.Your attacks don't have impact and more flashy than impacting. Also gating missions behind points rewarded through side missions and filler content is not good and my pet hate this gen. Shadow of Mordor and now this. Ugh, I am seriously concerned for Andromeda now which is not good. Thankfully the combat in Andromeda looks miles better and far more engaging.
