Ps4 may or may not get a boost next week in Japan but if it declines the fall will be softened.  So regardless good sales expected.

So TLG's retail stock, at least at Amazon.com, was apparently not great and the game couldn't even make the 20s on PSN in December. Oh boy, oh boy.

It is a fact now... PS4 won't lose the lead in Japan even after FFXIII + holidays for PS3.

And it will average a lot more then 20k over the next 15 weeks.  Ps4 Japan is in a healthy place.  It must be ridiculously more profitable this gen compared to the ps3 aligned last gen.

That's my hope too.  Match the ps3.

My prediction is it will not sell less then 8m with anything around or above in 10m possible.

It's kinda sad how poorly Nioh seems to be doing right now even in Japan, I fully expect the game to depend on reviews in the west, but I thought in Japan it would have gotten more attention by now. It's not in the Comg top 20, it's not in the Rakuten pre order top ten, it's 34th on Amazon Japan, which really doesn't look amazing when you look what's ahead of it.

Maybe there's just too much releasing these next couple months, people have to look at their budget. Hope Nioh is good and can find some attention after launch.
