For comparison, FFXIII sold 1.5 million on the PS3 first week.

Persona 5 sales were around 10% digital, so if we assume the same percentage for FFXV, cumulative PS4 FFXV sales would be 767K. Still a big drop down from FFXIII.

I honestly expect 900+ with digital. Bad. I expected 1.2m fw... But that was before I saw what the turned the game into. I never revised down

VGChartz data combines famitsu and media create. Famitsu has PS4 at about 100k less than MC so that's why their graph has PS3 ahead.

Omg crapgamerreviews is setting himself up for a fall.  I want ps4 to win November simply just for his meltdown.  I think he'll be livestreaming with his buddies to celebrate the result tonight as it's announced.  Must watch TV!

Anyway his logic is Sony announced WW numbers to damage control USA numbers.  Because,  you know... The USA > World.  Globally in the US.  What a time to be alive!

I also just love how ridiculously out of order the priorities are in that dudes mind.

Logically selling 50 million units globally and being the clear global sales leader should obviously trump being the best selling console in the US for 5 months, but somehow we've gotten to the point where people seriously believe that winning NPDs is more important to these companies than being the global market leader.
