Quote from: ethomaz on Nov 28, 2016, 06:26 PMFF fans are used to these GC epic cutscenes and outside the begin and end looks like FXV devs opted to use in game cutscenes.

The result is not on pair with previous games and the lack of a cohesive narrative hurts a lot... I don't know where you are but most events happens in background without the game telling you what happened... you will be like WTF happened to this dude from one chapter to other.

It really has a bad story telling that I guess it is because the way they have to cut/modify Vesus XIII story into XV... it looks like a Frankenstein.

It is a good game but with that felling it could be more... or what could be Versus XIII if they delivered it.
I'm not far at all, I've been doing a lot of side quests.  I'm only at the start of chapter 3.  But in general there just hasn't been much time to cutscenes.

From what I've read, a large portion of the game is spent with you running around open world environments and basically acquiring the powers you need to tackle the challenges ahead, and then at some point the game takes a turn and puts you in linear areas with a lot of scripted sequences and plot movement. So you spend a big chunk of the game running around with your friends and not much else but then suddenly the story kicks in and you're sent hurtling towards your goal. You go from feeling like your hardly a part of events that matter to being the big deal on the block in a flash. According to Jason Schreier from Kotaku, there is a secret dungeon that he can't seem to stop praising and you are able to go back to those more open areas to tie up loose ends before you end the game.

Lol I was joking :D

The way you worded what you said made it sound like you were calling me a massive promiscuous though ;D

Tbh I don't think I really rise to challenges.

SE Just released a web móvel to cover what the group did before the start of FFXV.

Like movie and anime this web novel should be a cutscene in the actual game IMO.

Sounds like the game sold 5 million copies between pre-orders and day one sales.

Edit: Etho posted this in the sales thread.

Ohhhhh well looks like they rushed the game but didn't want to delay more.

You will receive the final game via updates.
