I was going to come and start posting in the Street Fighter 5 thread, but this works too XD

Infiltration being gone makes sense.  Tokido though, I wasn't expecting that.

I haven't actually been able to watch though.  Just got home.

I feel bad for Ryan Hart.  He's got the world record for most Street Fighter tournaments won.  He won Capcom Cup a few years back.  Now he's losing first round :(

There have been a lot of upsets. I'm happy Infiltration got eliminated right off the bat. I hate listening to the commentators polish his nutsack. The dude is not that fudgy good comparatively speaking. He just builds up Super, uses Nash's "get out of jail free" V-Trigger, and anti-airs all day. The moment he goes against someone who has a good ground game he gets his dog beat. Even the commentators this time basically had to concede that they've been making excuses for a lot of his recent losses. The dude was top seed because he played in virtually every fudgy tournament possible that awarded points for certain places.

At least he's trying to change characters.  But yeah it took the pros way too long to figure out he was scamming . Sad Tokido's gone.

So Ricki vs Haitani, MOV vs Knuckledu in Winners

Fuudo vs Yukadon, Kazunoko vs Goichi in Losers

Gonna be tough.  I think Knuckledu might win.

We need some betting odds, quick @Legend how do we bet the points that don't matter?

So did diego fall off? Did I get his name right ?

Just speak the bet loudly and declare it.

If you're talking about Daigo Umehara, he was eliminated by Fuudo later in the brackets last night. He got swept, actually. Daigo is a great player but I don't think SF5 is quite his jam the way SF4 was. Not to mention, as the commentators pointed out last night, the competition is getting better. Which is probably why Infiltration, who was spoken of as if he was a god not long ago, is getting beaten more often. There are a lot of new Japanese faces getting trained by people like Daigo who are fudgy good. Plus, there are some badass non-Japanese players like NuckleDu, XIan, and Phenom who are just as good or better than Daigo in SF5.

Well since Sony only sort of cares for Street Fighter, think Capcom Cup 3 will happen at Psx?
