the combat still looks a bit plain compared to the rest of the industry but it is a massive step forward from previous zelda games.    ...and their is just something about cell shaded graphics that i just love.  soo pretty.

Some temporal anti-aliasing could clean that up, but I kinda like it as is  :P

I disagree, there's a lot more methodology in the combat.  It's a bit of a pick your poison, fast and combo (Devil Mary Cry, God of War, etc) or slow and meaningful (Souls, Bloodborne, etc).  What I'v seen is closer to souls/bloodborne, which they borrowed from 3D Zelda anyways.  There aren't too many games with that slow thought out combat.

Cute Pikachu

Liked it looks fun.
Not mind blowing but fun and the composer needs a raise.

The graphics side of it are massively underwhelming imo.  it looks like an average ps3 game and a tines a HD ps2 game.  HD AAA development really doesn't suit Nintendo.

Not a fan of the series but the fans seem pleased by the actual gameplay which is all that matters.  is this confirmed as a launch title?

A bit of AA could really fix a lot of Nintendo games

It's not just that though.  the backgrounds look washed out and not very detailed.  compare this to current Gen games like the witcher for example and it's at least an entire generation behind.

Cute Pikachu

Comes out in june.
3d Mario is serving as the main launch game.
