Amazon Sales Thread - November 2016

Anyway despite what you think gg the Pro is holding well. It was always going to drop at launch because sales are offset in Amazons favour for preorder items because I think the majority of preorders are made online. now it's in shops the sales will be spread out away from Amazon.

I didn't see all your posts, but to be honest, you were getting a bit too combatant from the ones I read.

As for the Pro, it should have a good hold. A lot of third party developers want to utilize the Pro's capabilities, so consumer interest will likely be maintained. Ideally, utilizing the checkerboard tech becomes easier and easier to be the point that it is as simple as "flipping a switch", as Major Nelson once said

Yeah I knew I was heading for a ban. I'm just fed up with some users and mods. I feel like I have to say something because most people just stand by and let them spread shame. I'm at the point where I don't care if I get banned.

The post I got banned for was calling X1gates a shaming troll.

Anyway yes developers will get better results out of the Pro when they get to grips with it and when they build their software form the ground up with Pro in mind.

It's odd imo how much love it's getting. Things like the NES classic release all the time and are usually just cheap products I find at King Soopers.

Nintendo fans don't really have much else to look forward to this holiday season aside from Pokemon.

The mods aren't stupid, they just choose to favour the behaviour that suits them. Carl is a jumped up little shame that is holding on to the little power he has on a gaming forum. Plus he doesn't like me because I've told him before that the moderation on VGC is shame and the only mod I trust is CGI. There is a few other mods I'm I think are ok but not sure of but overall I've seen enough and heard enough to know the bias. I was once told by a mod that they are strict on PS fans because they want to even out the fan bases and they also didn't post positive new in the news section because they didn't want Sony fans to be smug over it. I've also been told that some mods remove reports for some users to protect them. I know that somebody high up on VGC pulls a lot of stings and I used to trust them until it became obvious that something I told them in confidence was passed over to the user I had a issue with. The issues run deep and it runs deep to the people that are close to ioi.

The place is one big cesspool that needs to be wiped clean and that will never happen. Good mods in the past have come and gone because they went against the grain and I've also been told this by past popular mods. While I'm there I dig around and ask questions and talk to mods all the time. It's pretty easy to put together a picture when I've been doing this over the last 8 years.

Last time I checked, mockery does not equate to silencing another person nor does drowning out a person's opinion. Neither you nor FIT said "Shut up!" or "Take your nonsense somewhere else!" X1Gates wasn't being told what he should or should not post.

Carl's first sentence isn't as bad, but saying that X1Gates' comment was a "fair observation" is stretching quite a bit. For one thing, he didn't offer any citation that implies that the Pro isn't doing "too hot" as he claimed. No assessment from someone who works at retail. Not even an anecdote.

Last point I want to make is to not feed the troll. You and FIT didn't have to reply to X1Gates, really. No one else except the delusional would actually believe what he says, so there's really no point in giving a rebuttal since.... well, his comment wasn't really an argument to begin with.
