It's good to see this game getting more exposure. It somewhat slipped under the radar for some people but the Pro seems to be helping to highlight it:

SWORDF1SH

I was really shocked that nobody took to this at the reveal because it looked amazing. This definitely deserves more credit than it's got so far.

Same here. 'Oh, it's just another 'zombie' game'. People ALWAYS fail to realise that ANY genre stands and falls on its characters and story and just saying 'Oh, it's just another 'zombie' game' shows a level of ignorance only seen in secondary schools.

They should do a demo where the protagonist intentionally leads a horde of zombies to a rival camp. (1) It'll be funny and (2) it demonstrates one of the many things you can do in this game.

Max King of the Wild

Needs better animation for the zombies. Going from the running on the ground to standing on a barrier without climbing was jarring

Tons of animations were obvious work in progress still.

Horizon

Give it a year I say. When people see how the open world and ecosystem coalesce together they will see it is not just another generic zombie game. I also felt sorry for Bend as there had been a good number of Zombie games already announced and Sony were last to go. They also got sandwiched between God Of War, TLG and Horizon; not easy to stand out among those 3. They have plenty of time to get people excited though.

We really need to stop using the generic zombie description for a lot of these games though. These are 'infected' and as such have many varieties. I've watched let's plays of TLOU and people's reactions to the first showing of this game and in both cases it lead to badly drawn conclusions. In no less than 3 let's plays of TLOU I saw people complaining you wouldn't be able to strangle a zombie like that or kill one with a body shot. No shitt Sherlock, that's because they're NOT zombies. I also saw someone breaking down the Days Gone video and going through how many times a body shot or a shot to the legs killed them. No shitt Sherlock, they're not zombies.
