Blizzcon 2016

It's here again! Blizzard's own convention. Opening ceremony starts at 2PM EST. Expected and rumored announcements include;

- New Hearthstone expansion
- Multiple announcements for Heroes of the Storm content, including new heroes and maps
- New Starcraft 2 content
- New Overwatch hero
- A look at upcoming patch content for World of Warcraft
- An expansion to Diablo 3 or a reveal of Diablo 4

More likely an expansion. Not enough time has passed for Blizzard to make an actual sequel and they seemed determined to squeeze as much as they can from existing games before moving on. There was a listing for something called Diablo 3: Realm of Evil or something like that. It was quickly removed by Blizzard.

EDIT: Just looked into it. Apparently it was a t-shirt that was listed prematurely, removed, and now available again on the Blizzard store. It may not be at all related to an expansion but it is listed as a premiere Blizzcon 2016 product.

Hearthstone expansion announced. Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.

Heroes of the Storm content announced. Varian and Ragnaros as new heroes and Blackheart's Revenge as a new map.

The final Nova Covert Ops missions for Starcraft 2 are releasing this year.

A new hero for Overwatch, Sombra, was announced as well as Echo Point Antarctica as a new map. Additional game modes were also announced..

An old Diablo dungeon is being remade for Diablo 3. Two new zones are being added as well as the Necromancer class. Is a patch. Not an expansion. Though it does seem as though you have to pay to unlock the Necromancer.
