He is.  Still, I don't think this film will be as good as The Wolverine.  But it'll probably be a nice send off.

Still an in-between film with his "body guard" and possibly costume would be cool too.

True, but, there's only two timelines.  The original, which was abolished in Days of Future Past, and the new timeline.  Unless something happened in Apocalypse (Still need to watch it).

Yeah, different story arc. Nothing to do with the other movies. So this has a chance to be really good. It's not tethered to the others.

Yeah Laura was a really good character... Until recently.  They turned her into a hipster almost. Which is sad considering how good her x23 comic was.  Probably the most well written series I read until it was cancelled.  This might be able to give that justice if they play into her robotic personality.
