I can currently get around 120 in credit for 15 games at gamestop.  Most of them i will likely never play again.  Plus have 27,000 speedy points at speedway gas stations so i can get a $25 gift card.  That would leave me paying like ~270 for just the headset and I would need to get a camera.

At this point if I for sure get around that credit amount, I might get it tomorrow or saturday also depending on if my store near me has them in stock.  The positive impressions are making me super jealous.  8)

The old model camera is the exact same as the new one? Just a different look?  I might get my store credit at gamestop and order an older model camera online somewhere for cheaper if it's pretty much the same and get PSVR when I get the camera.

Yeah both cameras are pretty much the same. If you decide on Move controllers they are exactly the same too. I have the launch 2010 Move and it works fine. I think the only difference is the old Move models have a Mini USB port for charging while the new one has a Micro USB port.

Yes, the only difference seems to be the look.

Well luckily I have 2 move controllers already from when I got Move at launch!  I'm happy they still work great.

Also has anyone tried trading in a iPod, iPad, or iPhone with an engraving on the back to gamestop?  Do they take them?  I've seen people say no and I've seen people say yeah but might not get as much money.

I have an iPod nano gen 6 that I don't really use but it has my name on the back.

Did you use your machine thingy to engrave it?

No, I think I got the iPod for christmas and my mom had just put my name on the back from apple. I think amazon will take it for around $20 even with engravings(the iPod is from 2010).  That's about the lowest they will go based on the criteria I put in so I assume that's what I would get.  I'm trying to see if I could possibly get more in trade ins through amazon.  Have had really good experiences with their program the last few times.

Welp, got my PSVR!! It was the last one at the my gamestop.  Convinced my parents that that would be my big christmas gift(early) so won't be getting PS4 Pro probably till next year then. LOL   So only had to pay for the camera and a couple games. Only traded in a few games for about $50 Got Batman Arkham VR(Pretty immersive VR) and RoTR(Can't find the croft manor stuff, not sure if I need to download).  Might get Keep talking and nobody dies and there is a game called gunjack that looks pretty cool.

I think I'll be using the cinema mode quite a bit of playing games.  Its not bad in quality.  Sure there is some jaggies in the games but it's not that bad.  Like the idea of being able to watch netflix in it once in a while.

One other thing.   Played probably 2-3 hours straight and had zero discomfort even playing the drive club VR demo.  Have had the cinema mode screen shift to the left over time like some had reported but it's not too big of a deal for me.  haven't noticed it in an actual VR game though.

Playroom VR is fantastic!  My parents love the robot rescue platformer one.  It's easily one of the best VR experiences i've had so far.   I agree with most everyone that they need to make that into a more full game. Even if it's just a few hour downloadable one for now.

Got mine. First thing i did was play the cod beta. And its pretty good. I feel the video is better than id get on the rift. Because you dont see large dog pixels. And the high contrast issue isnt present.

And with trades i got it for 100 bucks 170 out the door with two games

For what reason?

Batman VR would be a good purchase.

Alteady have batman.

I tired drive club vr off the demo disk and i didn't like it. Scale seems off and they made it look like an early ps3 game. I dont think they really tired. Just took stuff out to make it run better. I wont support that.

Well what games do you have?

I've heard good things about REZ, SuperHyperCube, and rigs.
