Gears bundles still dropping and UHD disk player at $299 is doing jack shame atm. The Battlefield bundle can't come soon enough if this continues.

The Battlefield Bundle is at #564 and releases on the 21st Oct. That aint a healthy look.

Could it be that the surge of existing user upgrading to the S has come to an end? Or is this dip temporary? It's just weird for Xbox One sales on Amazon to fall off a cliff in the last few days.

That was the first stage in my 'slump' prediction but I didn't expect it to happen now. I'm seeing this as a blip at the moment and nothing more. We'll see but it seems to me -- looking at PSVR games in the charts -- that it 'could' be something to do with PSVR and people putting off buying the XB1s to buy a PS4 Pro. So I'd put this down to the strength of the Playstation brand to be honest and it's just returning to what it would have been if MS hadn't had all those incredible deals.

Pardon the cut and paste from another forum and the same question just asked:

My guess would be three things: the biggest majority of people buying the Gears Bundle was existing XB1 owners, PSVR is helping to push PS4 sales a little and PS4 Pro is more compelling than a console with only a third of its power.

I don't see any.
Personally surprised it's been doing so well.
-450$ when you can pick up an XB1 for 250$ easily. Even though that wouldn't include a slim, 2TB or Gears specifically. There doesn't seem a large enough draw to bring new people in. Most Xbox people will already have a One.

The Gears bundle I can see dropping but the regular bundles, there's got to be deals elsewhere... Right?!

So if that isn't the case let's do a round up of factors that could of caused this drop.

Deals at the end of last month caused the dip but masked until now by the momentum of XB1 sales caused by Gears release.
'Upgrade' period is now over.
Regular gamers don't see much difference to old XB1, just a XB1 still at $299.
Outside influences like PSVR and Pro.
Scorpio, people holding back instead of buying 2 consoles in a year.
Black Friday, gamers know they are guaranteed at least a $250 XB1, a free game and store voucher.
