Quote from: Lordfancypants on Oct 05, 2016, 01:51 PMA lot of the games looked like demos on trailers to me except that scary looking game swordfish posted the other day.
What was it called ?  That looked like a rocking time even if you need to carry extra underwear to play it.
Here they lie. If it plays like it looks then it should get good reviews

Quote from: Legend on Oct 05, 2016, 01:46 PMShould have all been cheaper.

Yeah, looks like the cheap price tags aren't cheap enough.

Thanks. Yep, it looked really good.
Is this where I talk favorably about myself?

No reviews on Rigs or Driveclub VR? Come on!! Rigs I can kinda understand with its multiplayer focus, but why isn't Sony giving Driveclub the time of day?

Isn't driveclub also multiplayer?

Haha giant bomb are trying to hold the ps camera while the other guy plays. So many glitches.

the-pi-guy

Why are they doing that?  :o
That would be so bad on the headset.  Even just moving the sensor makes things problematic.

Digital Foundry gave it a good review. They praise the quality of the build but the performance of software is good but not amazing. They note some games do a better job than others so it is more likely a software problem rather than hardware problem.

Wanted to play street luge while lying down on their couch. At least it was less nauseous than their first attempt where they were just sideways on the couch which made them sideways in the game.

Btw. I guarantee that people are going to bring up tge Giantbomb stream in regards to the quality of PSVR for ages, while completely ignoring all other opinions. I'm already seeing it, people questioning how the headset could get these positive reviews "when it's obviously broken/unfinished whatever" based on Giantbombs stream.

It needs some killer apps.

Full fledged games.

I think we have a catch 22 situation here. Companies want to test if VR is a viable avenue to go down with a small budget. VR needs the compelling games to make people buy it but VR needs a good install base for companies to spend bigger budgets on their games to make them compelling.
