Fun fact. People in the ancient world thought every number could be expressed as a fraction. In ~500 BC Pythagoras and his school discovered the square root of 2 could not be a perfect fraction. This kinda made them all go crazy since it went against thousands of years of understanding. They tried to keep it a secret and even killed the student who passed on the info.

Or something fun like that.

I knew this fact!  

One I expecexpected: flat earth myth.  The  world was actually known to be spherical for thousands of years.  Not something that Columbus discovered.  

Another one.  Napoleon wasn't actually short.  The reason why the short myth is likely because of the differences between how the French and the British measured.

Alan Sheppard was the first US astronaut, and did it while sitting in his own urine lol

he was on the launch pad so long, he really had to go,  so they just let him in the suit haha
