QuoteThe Last Guardian development team is fast approaching major milestones in production and has made the tough decision to delay the release of The Last Guardian a few weeks. The Last Guardian will launch on December 6, 2016.
Fumito Ueda (gen Design) and Japan Studio have a wonderful vision for The Last Guardian's touching, emotional journey of friendship and trust, and we want to deliver the most polished experience possible for our fans who have supported us for so long. A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game's creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.
Our development continues to push itself to the fullest and we look forward to revealing new content toward launch.
We appreciate your continued support.

LOL another delay... this is just a joke

Where is all this talk about giving it a date only when they are sure if it

Oh boy. Well at least they are still hitting 2016. Just imagine if they delayed the game out of the year.

Mmm_fish_tacos

When was it going to come out?

October 25th or something? It's not a big delay in the scheme of things.

A small delay is fine. Seems more marketing focused than dev focused. Oct was full.

Oct 25. 4 days afterGears and 3 days before Titanfall.

At least it's still a 2016 release, but this is still irritating.

Haha, that's cute.

Yeah this seems more of a delay to get it out of october where is would have been swamped by all the dude bro stuff.  It's a good move and not even long enough to get upset over.  Plus who gives a shame if they delay things, it sucks for sure, but there is nothing wrong with it.  We all by now know how fast development can change. And if it was indeed anything major development wise anyway it would have slipped to 2017.  Plus this puts it out after PS4 Pro so they can show off any improvements and hype that version up more.

Heres to hoping it's a good game though after how long it's been in development.

lol yes.  i think it looks good but (graphics aside) it would have been far more impressive last gen.  this gen i think the gameplay will fail to be viewed as pushing the limits of anything.  seems like everything has to be open world these days to impress.

October sounded too early. But come on, Sony, this is getting ridiculous. Don't give dates when they're almost always wrong

I just wanna know how their studios are run sometimes, is there nobody that checks if things are going according to plan over there until it's to late? How can it be that they constantly notice that they aren't hitting their deadlines after they announced their release dates or windows.
