I'm kinda amazed by how hard people are trying to downplay the PS4 Pro, even on the PS4 subs, it really seems like some people really believe no 4K = no power/graphical upgrade at all. I mean the dang thing is still over twice as powerful than a normal PS4, it might not be a difference you care about, I fully understand and even share that sentiment, but you are going to see a dang difference.

Once they walk into best buy and see it displayed on a 4k hdr tv they'll shut their mouths.

Too add to that. Ps4 pro is weak. But adding 1.8 TF to the Scorpio is a generation jump...

Scorpio isn't going to play 4k games native either, at least not well. Anyone who think they'll get 60fps (yes I've seen these comments) is smoking crack.

Eh that happens all the time. There are so many adamant 60 fps supporters that just don't understand it isn't a hardware problem but a side effect of their opinions being niche. PS6 will still play most games at 30fps unless market preferences change.

In two years, Sony will be close to announcing the PS5 anyways

Also, don't you already have a decent PC? You can just rely on your current PC/PS4 setup and make a (more) significant upgrade from PS4 to PS5.

My gaming desktop is somewhat decent and I can play all the games I want at 1080p 60 fps so far.

But it will be 7 years old come this next February

I think I'll be building my new PC around that time.

I also have my gaming laptop which is 2 years old too.


But ya I'll likely wait for PS5 since my OG PS4 will be good enough I'm sure to play the games that are coming out.
