I agree with his sentiments.  I'm not personally going to buy a Neo/Pro, since my PS4 is the Arkham edition and I'm not getting rid of it, but if I had my regular, yeah I'd be pissed.  Would I buy an Xbox S instead?  No, I'd just upgrade my video card instead.  But if I wasn't in that situation, I might consider an S or Scorpio.  I chose quality over streaming, which is why I buy Blurays.  Streaming, still, isn't as good.

Ok, now people are getting kinda ridiculous, I'm seeing complaints because there won't be any FPS differences in multiplayer games between standard and pro versions. Why would you be upset at that? It's competitive multiplayer, so of course they are going to keep the framerate level.

They should leave the choice up to the developer.  like we play against pc players on rocket league.  That's hardly fair and that game is competitive.

I simply find it weird that he just up and sold his PS4 before the thing was even revealed, I mean sure the Pro having 4K Bluray was a fair assumption to make, but is it really that important to him to save a couple bucks that he would sell his PS4 early on simple faith? Also I'm personally baffled that some peoples' console choice can really be swayed by what kind of blurays they play, especially for a guy that was as Pro PS as I always judged Soundwave to be.

He also knows there's other games than Nintendo.  If you wanna play third party titles you need another console.  PS4's the easiest way to do it for the best experience.  Unless you wanna drop 1200+ dollars on a computer.  Sell high now or get peanuts later.  I would have done the same thing if I still had a vanilla PS4.

Trade in deal closer to launch or else sell it to a friend or on Craigslist and cut out the middle man.

Slim and Neo announcement will make the vanilla ps4 worthless.  People are probably currently getting rid of their ps4s pushing the value down.  Craigslist or "friend" isn't going to be able to change that if the market price for a used ps4 is low.
