I hate that Hololense has "turned me" against AR. Pre hololense I was super stoked for AR and imagined a future with it more common than smartphones.

But I love VR too, and the stupid xbox and sony fanboys have turned it into a battle where my brain is forced to pick a side. Plus all the deceptive marketing of Hololense has turned me against the device in spirit. No they are not holograms, no it isn't cool the photons are shot into your eye, no AR gameplay like that is a gimmick, no the fov isn't anything close to that large, no the tracking isn't that good, no the resolution isn't that good, no it can't show dark colors, etc.

I hate this and it sucks. If hololense wasn't popular I'd probably be the one annoying people by posting updates on it. Arg anyone else have these kind of struggles? Logically you know something to be 100% one way, but your gut reaction goes a completely different direction. Or maybe that's just my inner hipster.

You're telling me Hololense isn't a device to shoot lasers into my eyes?

I don't really feel that way.
Sometimes I feel indifferent though, but not usually against.  
Like I feel indifferent about Halo.

I'm still pretty excited about AR, though my opinions of Hololens have gradually declined the more I learned about its limitations. I do see your point on how the fanboy wars has created a ridiculous AR vs VR battle. I remember last year, Vasto was outright shilling for Hololens left-and-right and aggressively pushing the "VR sucks. AR is the future" narrative on Chartz. However, I try not to let my opinions on AR get affected by those of other people.

I was looking for the neogaf thread, for the tease images for Bound, and I searched bound tease in google images and that was not a good idea.  
Was in a room with my parents, but thankfully they didn't notice.

That was a hell of war mcgregor just won.  

But fudge me I hope he never fights at Welterweight again.  Or if he does make it a 3 round fight max. His body is just too small to carry that weight over 25 mins.  

During round 3 he looked like he was going to collapse from exhaustion.  He had to turn walk away with his hands on his hips.  he will be a beast at lightweight but ffs don't do that to yourself again.

I remember one member who complained about Chartz showing a bad stuff ad. I wasn't sure if I should have laughed or facepalmed.

I know it has happened at least twice.  To me and another user. 

 Went to vgchartz on mobile, and randomly got redirected to a never-before-seen-by-me bad stuff site.  

 Has this happened to anyone else?  

A few people even said they had the same thing happen.  Two of them were even mods.
