Vote Gary Johnson. He's on the ballot in every state.

lol.  If only American politics worked that way.

Quote from: Raven on Jul 08, 2016, 05:09 PMThe State Department's investigation pretty much brings an end to it. No one is going to reopen this now. With the FBI not recommending charges based on what they found and the State Department finding that Clinton really couldn't be charged with anything, it's over.

Obviously she isn't going to be charged. That was over when you made this thread.

IMO this just makes the FBI a bit silly. Seems a simple thing for them to get incorrect.

But Kitler made the thread.

Well if you don't want your vote wasted or cannot in good conscience vote Trump or Clinton, he's your best option. Also, if more people started voting the "other option", it would raise awareness of them and help grow their base. It has to start somewhere. The current dominant political parties won't last forever. I know how American politics work and currently there is no way Johnson can win. Like I said, though, you have to start somewhere.

The fudge are you talking about? I didn't make the thread. There are at least two different ways to see that, and that's if you're not an administrator.

Any reason to vote for him other than to show we dont like the main two?

He's basically the best of both parties for the average American. Socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Doesn't believe in the war on drugs or the other stupid games government plays. Look him up. The only thing about him I don't like is his foreign policy stance which is basically isolationism. At least it was a few years ago. A VERY bad idea for global security. An America suddenly removed from the global scene leaves our allies unprepared and hanging and gives potential adversaries a ton of room to cause trouble.

Like pre ww2 isolation or worst than that?

Haha it doesn't matter who made the thread for what I was saying, but yes I'm a moron.

His idea would be that we don't intervene at all in foreign conflicts, cut the military in half, and review all alliances and potentially remove ourselves from those that don't directly benefit protection of our own territory. He may not be exactly pre-WW2 isolationist but he's not far from it. He would be the best President for domestic improvement but the worst for global security, which has long term ramifications. Many of these nations we've spent years cultivating alliances and goodwill with... he would give them the finger overnight. At least, he would try.

I take it back, you have three shame people to choose between.

Trump has no real plan. He's winging everything he says and does. He's just saying shame to get people to vote for him. Clinton is probably the best bet for global security, as silly as that sounds given the recent scandal, but her domestic plans are questionable. Johnson is the opposite in that regard. Great plans for domestic improvement but his idea that America should let the world take care of itself is incredibly irresponsible given our nation's position as basically the linchpin containing the insanity that would otherwise erupt if we "went away".
