Pirate it. If it's for personal/none profit use then Adobe won't give two nuggets or check if there is a student's version. Those are usually for free

You pirate the version until you're ready to sell.  Then you buy a copy.

Age of Empires II HD is 3$ on Steam, or 7$ for the game+DLC.

I Recommend.  It is quite possibly the best 3$ you could ever spend.
