There was a teaser with batman breaking through a wall asking "what took you so long"

Rumor has it, it's an impending Lego Dimensions 2 announcement. Characters include Sonic!!!!! THE GOONIES!!!!!! And some other pretty cool ones you can read here

It's kinda expected. It's even mentioned in the article. Star wars and marvel would be awesome. Lego makes kits for both regularly

Lego Dimensions is a toy to life game. The characters are Lego mini figures from various IPs. The game play follows the other Lego games formula but includes the pad (which reads the character tags) for puzzle sections.

The game has 14 story levels that's linear get from start to finish and face a boss and it's a pretty cool story because all the franchises are being meshed together. Doctor who is one of the main heroes for the final boss.

However, each franchise has an open world level that is mostly exploration based with some collection and such. These world's have a ton of references and easter eggs.

If you have a 4-7 year old to give a gift for they'd love this. And playing with them is fun.


I've spent 90 hours playing this with my kid.

Oh yeah, each character has a vehicle that is an actual Lego kit. Each vehicle has a modification tree (it's generic and mostly the same for every vehicle) but each vehicle has 3 stages and you need to take the vehicle apart to build the next one.

It is probably just as fun as Yooka Layly. Except,  this game is actually supposed to be for 4 year olds
