Apparently, there's a petition calling for the Washington Post review to be taken off Metacritic. I doubt that's going to accomplish anything, though it does put that particular writer under scrutiny.

The petition is stupid, even if the Washington Post review is extremely poorly written.

Agreed. It's one thing to ask Metacritic to reevaluate and tighten up its aggregation policy, but that was not what the petition was asking for.

The thread on vgc about the petition is hilarious. The petition is stupid but the people saying it's pathetic (the sting has never added a dang thing to any discussion) are worse

The petition just makes people look like salty fanboys. It would be much better if it was a petition for metacritic to change their review policy or for WP to look into this guy who keeps writing terrible reviews.
