Uncharted 4 first week sales higher (albeit only slightly) than UC3 and TLOU in Japan as well, about 129k.

Good shame.

Edit: Oh and btw. that's only between 60-80% of the stock they shipped instead of the usual 80-100% for big games in Japan. Sony must have shipped a literal fuckton of copies of UC4, I went to my local electronics retailer yesterday and they still had easily over 100 copies of the game in stock.

Don't forget to add digital sales which would leave it over 150k. Well over TLOU and U3. massive success in Japan.  And ps4 still doing great hardware wise.

Famitsu is sharing digital for some games in Japan sporadically... I don't if the case of U4.

"Uncharted doesn't come out every year so its a game thats been on wish lists for a very long time. If Uncharted came out yearly it would also suffer a similar decline like Halo."

Since when did Halo have yearly releases?

Since when did Halo have yearly releases?
Not sure how well it worked out, but Halo was supposed to have a yearly release.  Not necessarily main game, but "a" Halo.  So like, Halo Wars, an ODST type game, etc.

Even then, it still doesn't add up. In fact, Microsoft didn't start releasing a Halo every year until the XB1.

There are some other ones too, it's basically had annual releases since 2009, but serious games for it are not annual and the main line ones are even further apart.
