I didn't realise XBO crushed it so well last year.

The takeaway there is that PS4 maintained its April sales from last year, probably with a little help from Ratchet & Clank, while XB1 dropped by 10% despite the release of Quantum Break.

She is wrong about mods not allowing to talk about Zhuge or Aqua.

We talk/use Zhuge tweets every time in GAF.

"Quantum Break pre-orders are well ahead of plan"..."we're sitting on a mega-hit"

What a bust man.

How much did Alan Wake sell because I think QB sold less than that.

Regardless, that's really bad. QB appeared in every E3 since 2013, had a huge budget, and had a huge marketing campaign, and this is how much it shows for it.

star fox didn't do great but probably cost 1/4 to make compared to QB.  QB probably is posting a loss and star fox is at least breaking even.  i don't think remedy has a long future with MS after the recent behavior of ms to cut anything not immediately profitable.

Remedy is 3rd like Insoniac and Crytek.

the studio is 3rd party but MS published QB and basically every game remedy has done for the last 15 years.  i'm guessing remedy is going to lose that relationship and having a publisher is still very important to a development studio doing AAA games and only releasing 1 game every few years.

Yup just like Ready at Dawn. Pre 1886 rumors were Sony would buy them but after poor performance sony cut ties.

and now they are working for OR lol.   a publisher is important.  i think remedy is getting the axe from ms and i don't know that remedy can survive that with the infrequency and cost to which they make games.

and poor ready at dawn.  even if the game was way to short it was a good game.  i'd like a sequel or even just another new ip from them.  the hard work of getting the engine working is done.  sony should have greenlighted a (relatively) cheap sequel where they demanded a certain gameplay length but did nothing to improve visuals over the first game.   i would have bought it.
