I just got the game guide and it details the exact differences between difficulties. Apparently hard is the default, normal difficulty is the game toned down a bit.

Its funny, I thought that sliding seemed very slow and in fact on crushing you slide 3x faster.

Good lord Crushing sounds hard.

Honestly, I find hard to be harder than crushing in 1 and 2 (Never played 3 on crushing).  The troubles I'm having is making me wish I started on crushing. Might as well have gotten it over with and never have to do it again.  But noooooo, I made a mistake

Man, just played the PSX demo section, playing that in full stealth mode is awesome.

I know! At one point in the madagascar driving level Sam was talking about spending time in prison and he got interrupted I think 4 times and it went back to the story each time. I love that.

Yeah same! Except I got spotted when there was three dudes left but they were easy to clean up.

Reached the start of chapter 17 and I'm stopping for the night, I think this will be the best stopping point around the end of the game.

Absolutely amazing so far, the pacing has been excellent and the story phenomenal. My only real complaints so far are:

Spoiler for Hidden:

When you get to Libertalia and there&#39;s a few waves of the same types of enemies in the same environments, that&#39;s a little bit repetitive. Also the painting puzzle was repetitive and took way too long.<br><br>Loved the cut back to the young brothers again though!<br>

Honestly this is way way better than Uncharted 3.
