that building could just be a coincidence.  yeah it looks similar but nothing else in the skyline does and the artist (knowingly or now) could have just been trying to find a interesting detail for the building.

the colorado comparisons are both numerous and very, very similar to real life.  i believe that is the setting they took their inspiration from.
