Crash? Darkcloud? fudgy jumping flash!

No one gives a shame about Jumping Flash. I liked it back in the day and I don't give a shame about it either. Dark Cloud is barely a pebble in the water. Crash would make some waves but you're really jamming points into your delusion stat if you think that will compare to anything like an FF7 Remake announcement. I really cannot stress enough how much bigger that was than anything else. Crash has about the same kind of weight to it that The Last Guardian did. I'm also going with the assumption that a Crash announcement is happening anyways.

The only kind of dead dreams that would top The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, or Shenmue 3 would be Half-Life 3 or The Agent. Even with those two combined, they wouldn't compare to the trio from last year. The Final Fantasy 7 Remake alone was bigger than those two combined.

This isn't about you or me. It's about the gaming community in general and how I feel they're likely to react versus what we had last year. You're not going to see the same kind of reactions we got last year. No one is going to get caught on camera crying about a Crash reboot.

You can't say that for certain. Ff7 had a huge reaction yeah but the other two weren't that big. Shenmue is extremely niche and not too many people cared. If crash, agent, god of war 4 and a few more awesome surprises happened their conference could be better than last year.

I don't think there'll ever be a single moment better than the ff7 trailer but the conference as a whole could be topped.

It's fairly unlikely, although for me this year could easily top last year.

Sony could easily have a better show this year for us, but nobody cares. E3 2015 will always be remembered as the E3 of dreams.

Half Life 3 is IMO much bigger than FF7R. Only problem might be that HL3 has become so big that it's treated as a joke nowadays.

Crash is only a big deal because it's a former mascot and people are on a big nostalgia trip.

Shenmue is bigger IMO.

Naughty Dog has moved on to bigger and better games, so crash is only cool because of nostalgia. Meanwhile Shenmue is a cult classic that was ahead of its time.
