Okay Mercury is OP. And she needs to be tuned down about 100 notches. How could they not have know that?

Quote from: kitler53 on Apr 11, 2016, 11:49 PMpar paragon is free to play,.. I'll test that one out before buying any other console mobas. I'm still not much of a pvp guy and less sure about mobas.
It's pretty debatable to call this a MOBA. There are several modes in the game and only one of them is about helping minions march across the map. It has a lot more in common with Overwatch or Garden Warfare than Paragon or Smite. In fact, I'd say the only thing consistently MOBA about it, mechanically, is having to unlock abilities during each match. The story mode feels like Borderlands if it was a mission-based game instead of open-world. This is one of those games that blurs some lines.

BananaKing

is it me, or is the game really bad?

didnt enjoy it at all.

Xevross

I'm having a lot of fun playing as Miko with my friends.

Still not convinced if I should buy it or not but its definitely growing on me the more I play.

I think I'd have more fun if the game was even a little balanced.

This is true. A few of the characters are really OP and the general balancing isn't great.

I think Overwatch will be much better in this regard.

Yes, blizzard are masters of balancing

Ludicrous Speed

When people are partied up and use the better characters, shame gets really unbalanced. But it's a beta, and they have already said they have balance tweaks on the way for release.

The story missions are really cool, it's basically 8 raids you can play. Montana is still the only character I have unlocked that I enjoy, but I have went against (and destroyed) a few characters that intrigue me. About to fire up the beta on Xbox One.

Yeah if you go up against a group a good people all together you have no chance.

I've been playing Ambra a lot today and really enjoying it, she's very powerful.

Also this just happened to me, it was very odd:

Xevross

So it happened again! But I stayed up in the sky for a bit this time!

My friend took a screenshot from the ground

That's odd that the glitch happened from everyone's perspective. Can you jump in the game?

Yes you can jump. We worked out what it is, its if you get squeezed between a Thrall and a solid object that will sometimes happen.

The collision physics in this game are absolutely awful though, its the main thing putting me off buying it. Its so frustrating, every single thing that sticks out slightly is a solid object and blocks you completely. You get killed so much because you get stuck on something which is like 1ft tall and you can't move past it.

Believe me do I know those developer's pain.

Not sure why it'd launch you so high though. Maybe it's a last resort feature to stop you from falling through the map.

I have no clue how the whole coding side of it works. Its happened to me 3 times now and it happened to my friend as well so I'm sure they're aware of it and will fix it.

Coding can vary.

On the subject of glitches though.
Some Naughty Dog glitches:
-Uncharted 2 MP:  It happened a couple of times to me, where if you tried covering behind this one particular cover, I insta-died.
-Uncharted 3 MP (beta?):  If we tried jumping on something in the middle of the map, we would get stuck in it.
-Jak II/3 would often have glitches.  They were fairly super buggy, but at the same time you usually had to go out of your way to see the bugs.  Weird things would happen if you tried jumping in weird crevices or on walls.  Usually Jak would just slide down the wall, but sometimes weird stuff would happen.
