Dubai is getting another tall building higher than the current world's tallest - NeoGAF

QuoteFrom the same architect as the Burj Khalifa, it is a cable supported tower with lots of gardens and observation decks, along with rotating balconies and a boutique hotel. It will cost $1 billion. That said, it probably won't officially count as a building in the world records because it won't have greater than 50% of its floors as fully usable, rather they will be semi-utilized, gardens, or complex balconies on most floors.//http://www.businessinsider.com/dubai...uilding-2016-4 and from The Independent on the status of world's tallest buildings
QuoteThe question of which building is taller will eventually become redundant when the Jeddah Tower – a skyscraper in Dubai expected to reach 3,280ft – is completed, and then again in 2045, when the Sky Mile Tower – measuring at twice the height of the Burj Khalifa – in Tokyo is due to be finished.

Dubai is stunning but also kind of oppressive as shame so I don't get why people pick there of all places to be a tourist. There are a lot less dreadful places to be stunned by. I sure as fudge wouldn't give those people my money for a whole vacation with their screwed up laws. Go to Tokyo or Vegas or Singapore. Jail and deport me for saying an expletive if old.

It's about the Sky Mile Tower in Japan:

See if you can see the problem here.

That chart has so many things wrong with it.

Awesome. I love tall buildings and followed the Burj Khalifa's construction. It's actually pretty impressive that the current tallest building is also the tallest structure. That doesn't tend to be the case.

Graph is horrible.

Pi likes tall buildings too!  :D
Yeah, that graph is almost impressively bad.  That's why I had to share it.

How does someone mess up that bad?  :o

I don't know.

A building that high would be insane though. More than half the height of everest :o :o
