Quote from: Kerotan on Apr 06, 2016, 03:14 PMI think they'll show off star wars dlc.  Death Star expansion is due to launch around e3, and they might show of it and / or the next DLC due in the fall.  Cod bo3 would be due an expansion announcement too.

And visceral are due to announce a single player star wars game.  Hopefully that's shown too.
You mean Amy Hennig's Star Wars game? That'd be cool to see.

Why in the world would a BO3 expansion be at one of the conferences? E3 will be for the next Cod.

I hope FFXII HD will be announced in either Sony or Square's conference.

Horizon

Quote from: DerNebel on Apr 06, 2016, 02:15 PMI always like doing these things, but somehow I think other people simply aren't motivated enough to do them as well, anyway thanks to my current boredom I'm giving you my ideal Sony E3 2016 that actually has a possibility of happening.

  • At the beginning we get some of the usual chest beating, Shawn Layden telling us how thankful he is for the support of players etc.
  • Since Sony has in recent years adapted the habit of putting their first party announcements at the beginning of their conferences I expect Shu to take the stage next to introduce the next God of War game, which will get the same treatment as Horizon last year, so introductory trailer, followed by 5 minutes of gameplay, announced for march 2017.
  • The same goes for the next title which is Sony Bends game, this gets a trailer and a couple minutes of gameplay as well, given a general 2017 release date.
  • We're moving to Japan with The Last Guardian, which is given a live demo on stage, followed by a September release date
  • The follow up to this is Gravity Rush 2, which will get a new trailer, they are giving a holiday 2016 window (the game will end up coming in December)
  • Media Molecule takes the stage to show a trailer for Dreams and to announce that the beta for the game will go live after the show.
  • Finally even though it's not technically first party the launch trailer for No Man's Sky will be revealed
  • Time for the inevitable 3rd party block, which will start out with a FFXV trailer and the announcement of a special edition PS4 for the game
  • It's Cod time, not the most exciting part of the conference but it has to be there at this point.
  • Between these two I think they will announce two of these three games as well: Shadow of Mordor 2, RDR2, Resident Evil 7
  • We're moving to what Sony would likely consider more niche stuff, the first gameplay for Ni No Kuni 2 is shown in a trailer, the game gets a tentative 2017 release window
  • Nioh gets a new trailer as well, including a release date set for October 2016
  • And finally the western release date for Persona 5 gets announced, which will be in November, the japanese date will be known at that point already
  • There will be some indie and digital only stuff between these announcements too
  • The show could of course not end without talking about PSVR, we will finally get a closer introduction to its launch and launch window lineup in this 10 minute segment (including the Battlefront "experience" and NMS for PSVR)
  • There will however be no mentioning the PS4k (if this thing really doesn't come out before Q1 2017 then I see no reason to announce it at E3)
  • We're moving towards the end of the show with Gran Turismo Sport, which will finally get a real gameplay trailer as well as a beta date for July and a release window for early 2017
  • One of the biggest surprises of the show comes next with the announcement of a Sony/Activision colaboration resulting in what people have been asking for for years: A new Crash Bandicoot, Mark Cerny is involved in the games development.
  • As a closer for the show we will get one big final demo: 15 minutes of Horizon Zero Dawn, followed by a release date in November.

This whole thing would probably push over 2 hours but I think it'd be a pretty dang perfect conference. :D

I'd be happy with just 15 minutes of Horizon Zero Dawn personally :D

the-pi-guy

I'd be happy with 30 seconds of Horizon.  :o

I wouldn't! I have to see more of that game! I really want to see more of the RPG elements and the open world. I hope it gets at least 5 minutes, which I'm fairly sure it will.

lets do this!!!

okay this is so fudgy hard with all the first and second party sony has in development, so i dont care much for the order as much as the content.

- Sony Bends game is announced with a trailer, maybe some gameplay as well, in a similar fashion to how Horizon was announced last year
- Quantic Dream show a demo of Detroit: Become Human. with a mention of an early 2017 release.
- CoD will of course be on stage, along side other 3rd party games such as Watch Dogs 2, Destiny's new Expansion, FF15, Kindgom Hearts 3, either Battlefield 5 or Mass Effect, maybe shemnue 3 as well.
- Titanfall 2 will be shown at Sony's E3 presentation, not Microsofts. we will see a more of the game after EA announce it the week before at their E3ish Event.
- A new, big exclusive VR game will be announced
- Starwars Battlefront VR Edition will be shown for the first time
- The Last Guardian will have a gameplay demo or trailer, with a release date at the end, no later then September, could be earlier
- Sucker Punches new game is announced. its a sequel to infamous second Son
- Uncharted 4 DLC announced. you play as Sully, or Sam. its a background story to one of those characters.
- Gran Turismo Sport is shown with a trailer, and a date for the beta is announced.
- Dreams also gets some spot light, with its beta and date announced for it.
- Some Indie Games are shown, of course.
- At the end of the show Horizon gets a new 10-15~ minute gameplay footage, something completely mind blowing that will make the original reveal look meh in comparison
- And After that, Sony Announce GoW with an in engine trailer, explaining the story, main character if its kratos or not, and the new mythology. they will end the show with Horizon then GoW.

Guess I'll make one too.

XBOX

  • Cold open with Gears 4 co-op gameplay. Basically a cookie cutter repeat of how they showed Halo 5 last year.
  • Phil comes on stage saying how awesome Gears looks, and that he's so proud to be bringing all these amazing games to the fans.
  • His shirt has the Cuphead logo.
  • Phil gives a quick recap of the past year and how amazing XBOX has done thanks to Halo and backwards compatibility. He uses this moment to announce 100 more BC games are available right now!
  • Walks off stage and a trailer for the new Battlefield starts playing. It is Battlefield 5 and set in the future. Trailer shows space n stuff. Seems they're reusing Battlefront laser assets. December release date is announced.
  • New trailer starts. It's Watch_Dogs_2 set in San Francisco. Trailer ends and some Ubisoft rep walks out to talk about the game a bit and say more will be shown at their press conference later in the day.
  • Out of nowhere a car comes driving out on stage and a Forza logo pops on screen. Turn10 director Dan Greenawalt steps out of the car and makes a lame joke about it. Talks about Forza 6 Apex and how Forza is just so perfect for PC. Then he makes another lame joke about how we want to see something new, so a trailer starts for Forza Horizon 3. This time it's set across all of North America. Releases day and date with PC.
  • Scalebound gets a new trailer and it looks pretty great. Release date is announced for November.
  • In a strange turn of events, a large crowd of indie devs all emerge on stage together. A trailer for cuphead plays, and a spotlight highlights the developer. This continues in rapid succession getting all the indie games Microsoft needs to advertise. Lots of the devs don't even have their games shown, but Microsoft wants it to look like indies are flocking to them. The crowd is awkwardly shuffled off stage.
  • Phil Spencer emerges in the audience as a distraction while that finishes up. His shirt is now a Conker one. Talks about how great indies are, and how they've recently made every XBOX a dev kit. Then goes on to praise Windows 10 and how it's just so awesome for devs and gamers alike. He uses this moment to drop the bombshell. They're releasing the XBOX operating system for free so anyone can turn their powerful PC into an XBOX. It'll play all digital XBOX ONE games and all Windows 10 games, the perfect merger! He also announces a steambox like program where Microsoft will sell select prebuilt PCs with the software already set up.
  • Halo Wars 2 trailer showing off PC and XBOX gameplay.
  • Sea of Thieves trailer.
  • Shadow of Mordor 2 announcement trailer.
  • Phil walks back out on stage and thanks everyone for an awesome show. He is now in a Kameo t shirt. However he hypes everyone up and says there's one last thing to announce...
  • Gears 4 logo on screen with release date. Shifts to the left as "XBOX and PC" fade from black.
  • That's their big ender, go home.

PlayStation

  • Cold open with Horizon Zero Dawn. Live gameplay demo showing more of the gameplay loop than just fighting robot dinosaurs. Ends with a new trailer and a release date for November.
  • Shawn Layden walks out on stage with a full on beard and an even more casual appearance than PSX. Does the boilerplate introduction.
  • Dreams gets a short new trailer, and the beta is announced for August.
  • Gran Turismo Sport gets a trailer, and its beta goes live after the show.
  • Uncharted 4 gets some DLC announced.
  • Someone sneaks on stage and talks about PlayStation Vue and non gaming stuff.
  • Call of Duty (announced already) gets a PlayStation specific trailer.
  • Battlefront has Deathstar DLC announced.
  • Adam Boyes walks on stage and talks about how amazing last E3 was.
  • FF7R gets a trailer.
  • Shenmue 3 gets a trailer.
  • Crash Bandicoot gets a trailer. It's co-developed and trash, but the fans are happy.
  • Last guardian gets a live gameplay demo.
  • Shuhei Yoshida walks on stage. Talks about the last Guardian and how it's been a long journey. Announces the game is releasing in September.
  • Bend's new game is announced, it's a horror game that supports VR.
  • This leads into the VR section where a montage of VR games are shown.
  • New Prince of Persia is announced.
  • New game from Warner Bros is announced.
  • New game from famous indie dev is announced.
  • FFXV gets a trailer.
  • KH3 gets a trailer and release date. March 2017.
  • Andrew House walks on stage. He has a very open talk about the balance of offering consumers the best hardware at the cheapest costs. Announces PS4K is stupid and that Sony isn't doing it.
  • GOW4 is announced. It's Kratos still in Greece! The fans rejoice!!!
  • Show's over.

Nintendo

  • Skips E3.

Those sound boring. That MS ending would be terrible, they'd never do that.

That Xbox One conference seems like it'd be short, although I guess their gameplay segments will be way too long and slow like last year.

Yeah I realise yours is realistic, which is why I said it was boring! It'd be more fun if you said something crazy!

If Crash is there it'll be hype redeemed for me anyway, I refuse to believe it would be bad.
