Is Kotaku in danger of shutting down? - NeoGAF

QuoteSo today lawsuit between Gawker Media and Hulk Hogan ended and they lost. They now owe Hulk Hogan 115M and that is just beginning.http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-35849140
Kotaku is part of the Gawker Media so there is chance that they will be shutdown.

Sucks if they do go under. Kotaku is really great at showing a different side of the industry, and they're great with leaks.

They're also really good at kicking up SJW battleship.

i won't miss them.  fudgy leaks ruin great announcements.  E3 will be so much more fun without them.

Kotaku (and Zoe Quinn) were also responsible for the GamerGate movement.

I also remember one of the site's main editors expressing indifference towards objectivity on Twitter, so yeah. I won't miss Kotaku.

I have no love for a website that allows ignorant, feminazi bloggers like Patricia Hernandez to be among their writers. She actually had an article published on Kotaku that was asking if beating a woman in video games should be considered rape because "rape is about overpowering women". She also wrote an article about the guy who made Cards Against Humanity and the rape accusation against him. An accusation that came LONG after it supposedly happened. She argued that not only was it worth it to consider the possibility that he did, which really just amounts to trying to blame him with no evidence, she then launched into a battleship argument that he's in the wrong for defending himself instead of turning the situation into some kind of soapbox about what consent really is. She's a man-hater, it's obvious, and Kotaku employs her with no issue at all for the battleship she spews.
