Just gotta keep expectations low.  Anything might be possible.  But it's probably not.

Expect nothing and you will always be pleasantly surprised.

What I want to see is the PSVR User Interface. Shu, has said they have been working on this tirelessly. I want to see the fruits of their labor.

What if it's a room full of folders.

We already have final specs.

Quote from: the-Pi-guy on Mar 14, 2016, 03:29 PMNo idea.  Probably something to do with developers, but I don't know what "long awaited update" there is for developers.  @Legend, anything you're waiting for?

The only things I don't know are release date and price. Everything else has already been taken care of a long time ago.

At least to me, this seems really close to market. Tomorrow will be all the technical/dev things, while Wednesday will be the press release and opening of preorders. Launch before E3.

It feels so weird.  Like everything is just building up, and then you turn around and it'll be nothing.

Do we even have any idea if we'll be hearing about what's coming out of this today? Will there be people live blogging?

Nope, we still have nothing.
The higher ups for the most part have been quiet about it, even though some people are teasing it.  (Mostly the Battlezone devs, the Sony blog page)

December?  :(
They seem to be thinking it's moving back.

Raven

So Amazon changed the placeholder date from the end of June to the end of December. Which probably means it's not going to be a surprise Summer release.

QuoteWhile other companies such as HTC, with their Vive VR headset, and Facebook, with their Oculus Rift, have already made many details available, it's Sony which has seemingly held out the longest.  According to reports, Sony, who likely will have an edge in the virtual reality space, since the Playstation 4 is owned by millions of gamers already, will likely price their VR headset at between $400 and $500. While this may seem like a pricey addition to gamers, it's actual quite affordable when one considers the fact that the Oculus Rift will cost $599 and the HTC Vive $799.  Additionally, these other VR headsets require a powerful computer packed with graphics capabilities in order to function adequately.
