Still, it seems to be making quite a bit of progress.

It has won 3 games out of 4.
This thread is about that 4th game.

Oh okay, still against the same guy?

I'd say that's still pretty amazing beating him 3/4 times. Losing a game makes it more human too, so maybe that's a success in its own sense ;)

Yeah, there's a competition for $1 million for 5 games.  There's another game tomorrow.

If Alpha Go has won 3 then surely its won already then?

QuoteIn October 2015, our program AlphaGo won 5-0 in a formal match against the reigning 3-times European Champion, Fan Hui, to become the first program to ever beat a professional Go player in an even game.

Now AlphaGo will face its ultimate challenge: a 5-game challenge match in Seoul against the legendary Lee Sedol, the top Go player in the world over the past decade, for a $1M prize. For full details, please see our press release.

I'm not really sure.  I think they'll still play 5 games, I guess.  *shrugs*

I imagine that's how all robots talk to themselves.

It would be scary it that actually happened though ;)
