Because I already have a rift on the way I'm in the same boat. Is 300 your buy price?

no. $300 is my i won't even consider it price.  

i have more games than i can handle already purchased and highly desired (the witness, uncharted, ratchet, TLG, horizon,ect) so i just don't need another device. that and i seriously am concerned about long term support for vr.   if sony wants me to buy vr in the first year it has to come down to impulse buy level of cheapness for me which is under $300.

the british pound is worth about double the us dollar.  in the us for thing like electronics prices and price cuts are in $50 dollar allotments always less $1 to appear less than it really is.

Its nowhere near double anymore. It was in the past but all this EU stuff has really hurt the pound. I get what you mean though, we're much more likely to have prices between the £50 groups.

I can't see it being $299 myself. I would love for it to be that cheap though.
