I kinda chuckle at the people who thought we'd have three different leaders in three regions

Yeah I have to agree. If XBO wins a month, I bet it'll be a pretty random one kinda like last year.

The last place will be Japan but it will get there before next year ;)

Way before next year. Big JRPGs like Star Ocean 5, Final Fantasy XV, and Persona 5 will help the PS4 overtake the Wii U.

NeoGAF - View Single Post -  NPD Sales Results for February 2016 (Up1: Fire Emblem)

QuoteFCP ~ 363 (4 ~ 56.8%)
 NARUTO ~ 287 288 (4 ~ 2/3)
 DIGIMON ~ 64
 PVZ2 ~ 117 (1 ~ 59.5%)

Very good results for Digimon since that only includes the PS4 retail version. The Vita version is digital-only and it was the #1 game on the Vita PSN store last month. Compared to the PS4's other exclusive JRPGs, it did way better than Disgaea 5 (26K) and DQ Heroes (31K). It also did better than Tales of Zestiria (58K).

yeah seems like it. which is a shame, because the game is great. the game is already over 100k in both the UK and germany. so roughly these three countries alone the game sold ~600k, without digital.

i hope the game can leg it out to 3 million or so, and we can get a sequal to the spin off, hopefully with dinosaurs, or a fantasy setting with warewolfs, vampires and other beasts/mosters.

It is better than Far Cry 4 if you launch aligned.

Far Cry 4 ~670k with 11 days in NPD
Primal ~363k with 4 days in NPD

FC4 was available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360 and PC... FCP only PS4 and Xbox One.

seems like bad math to me.  most of those sales for both games are going to be day-1 sales.  i really doubt that by day 11 primal crossed the 670k mark.

Felt like there was a lot less excitement for Far Cry than previous ones.  Think it did fairly well considering.

Other way around. When adjusting for first week FC4 sales. Primal has sold more.

and what does "adjusting" entail because it still feels like bad math to me.

It is not bad math.

NPD said launch aligned (first 4 days) Primal sold more.

what i thought i saw was leaks from people who have access to NPD suggest that.  i still think the math is bad.

I guess those FC4 numbers include black Friday so it makes sense.
